University of Wisconsin athletic director Barry Alvarez said this week that attempts are being made to add Pittsburgh and Kansas State to future non-conference schedules.

Maybe he meant Kansas and Pittsburg State.  :dunno:

Why can't Wisconsin just leave us alone!

That would be horrible. Why can't we just schedule a home and home with Northwestern instead?

Madison is a fantastic town.  Spent about four days there a few years back.  Great times.

If you love beer, food that will clog your arteries, and great looking women, Madison is for you.

Scheduling noncon losses when we now play in a conference in which we will rarely notch more than 3 or 4 wins is beyond stupid.   It's destructive and ensures continued crap recruiting.

Hi my name is Pete and I hate fun. I prefer to wear a parka and go to NY to watch the cat's play in the pinstripe bowl over catching the tale end of skirt season up in wisconsin while enjoying one of the greatest college towns on earth.

I understand your point of view, it's a common one.   However, LOVE ksucats football, and want what's best for ksucats football.   Losing is super bad for ksucats football.   It's true, bro.

I doubt we will be able to afford to buy three non wins like in previous years.  At least one game a year will have to be losable and/or on the road.

We just upped our football revenue by a bagillion dollars, why the eff couldn't we?

Football is an investment with a massive return.   Throw money at it and rough ridin' profit.

Everybody else has a bunch of football revenue, too. There are only so many patsies to go around, and the price goes up every year. I agree we shouldn't be playing the Wisconsins of the world, but we should expect road games to Sun Belt stadiums just about every year.

Definitely a worthwhile trip. Lots of partying to numb the actual effects of the game, which would be a total throttling.

Wisc rarely throttles anyone with a pulse.   I'd like to think that if we play them, and by the time we play them, we'll have a pulse.

FYI, this game will never happen.  It may get scheduled and contracts signed, but it will never happen.  When it actually comes time to play it, Currie will be long gone and some puppet AD will be put in place to allow Bill to transition the program to Sean.  Sean will then make sure it gets bought out.  Tucks will be completely cool with this.
