The artsy kids whose daddies didn't love them from my high school seemed to love KCMO.  So you've got that working for you, SS.

Mission hills is a nice place.

I honestly cannot remember the last time I drank tap water.

But the scene at Lifetime Fitness this morning was classic.  Trash bags over the water fountains and everyone in there had their own personal Evian/Smart Water bottle.

:kstategrad: :kstategrad: :kstategrad: :kstategrad: :kstategrad: :kstategrad:

Though I'm EXTREMELY  :chainsaw: :curse: :chainsaw: :curse: that I can't get a motherfucking drink from QT.  eff you, WaterOne. eff you.

Odds are you drink it every single day, whether you realize it or not.

If the pressure inside the pipe is higher than the pressure outside the pipe, how the eff does bacteria get in?

When the main breaks, there is a loss of pressure.

Still higher inside than outside.  No way it's less than atmosphere.

How do you fix the main?

I would imagine they have to shut the water off, lowering the pressure to atmospheric. I could be wrong, though.

Ya, I get that.  But it's not like they purged the entire system of all the potentially contaminated water.  Basically, boil order = CYA.
