Explain to me how Kyrie Irving and Josh Selby's situations are different?

Two different players with different skill sets.

Would you say that they were vastly different in skill level, regardless of skill set?

Coach K doesn't trash his own players to keep them from leaving.

It'd be interesting to know when the exact moment of acceptance comes and he goes from trashing them to prevent leaving to trashing them out of spite for leaving.

Coach K, Sister School Duke lottery smorgasbord. <---- holy crap can't believe I spelled smorgasbord right on the first try!!!
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Yeah, one was awesome and supported, the other was awesome and trashed by his coach

Kyrie has better decision making skills

Here's what Rivals.com said about him when they said he was the number one player in the class.

Quote
A dynamic playmaker, Selby has the ability to excel at either the shooting guard or point guard position. He can score at all three levels, and no one hits the difficult shot with more consistency than Selby. As a point guard, he has the ability to breakdown defenses and create scoring opportunities for his teammates. On the other side of the ball, he is a high level defender. Combine these attributes with his athleticism and competitiveness and you have the top prospect in the 2010 class.

I simply do not understand how you can go from that to where he is now.

Irving picked Duke
Selby picked Kansas

Decision making goes to Kyrie

I'm sure Josh would have gone to Duke if Duke would have wanted him.

Duke only needed 1 to win a National Championship. You had 4 and couldn't even get to the Final 4.

So typical of K-State, living through the successes of others since you have none of your own.  Any recruit that Bill Self signs will turn out better than any recruit Frank Martin signs, it's just a fact of life that you Wildcats can't accept.  Leave Duke out of the conversation, they don't know K-State exists other than to pound you in front of your home crowd last winter.

The tap out was when a fan of your garbage school made a video about our program.  Why not make a video documenting your Final Four run?  LOL, loser.

K-State, we have never won anything except Dirt Judging comps and tractor pulls!

Why is the draft KUs super bowl all the sudden? Anyone with that many lottery picks would have done much better in the tournament the last two years. I guess self is just too selfish
