Had a soch class with a bumch of athletes. One of which was Curtis Kelly. He only came once every few weeks, but when he did, he was very enthusiastic during class lectures. I remember one in particular where Curt stated that 'if he saw a bag of groceries lying on the street, then yeah, he would take the bag of groceries', and in the real world, the earth is the bag of groceries, and all humans are him.

Keithen Valentine was also in the class and took more notes than anyone I've ever seen.

DT was in my "Israeli-Palestinian Conflict" class (Hist 597 I think) last summer. He came the first two days and then dropped. I don't blame him. Attendence was mandatory, the lectures were dreadfully dull, and each class was 2 and a half hours. The only reason I survived was due to intense bbs'ing.

i had a fball player in my stats class and he sat in the front row on the right side of class. kind of far away from the door that led into the class. he was an offensive lineman. can't think of his name right now. anyway, i got an A in that class which is kind of weird because i generally didn't like math type stuff all that much but stats just kind of "made sense" to me. weird huh? wow.

Had Jamar and Dom in my history of rock and roll class.

They came every day, but Jamar always fell asleep the second he got there (pretty funny since it was in McCain and those chairs are tiny)

Once I asked Jamar how workouts were. Was pretty

about talking to him because I was a scared freshman and he was a big bad athlete.

He was pretty nice about it and chatted with me for a few minutes.

Dyshod Carter gravitated towards my normal backrow seat in some upper level sociology class. He became reliant upon my quiz taking abilities. I was a bit surprised to hear my Dad say Dyshod Carter called their home phone one night. At first I thought Dyshod wanted to go grab a coke or something, but that wasn't his intent. HE WANTED MY NOTES FOR THE FINAL EXAM!

Dylan Meier was in my Business, Government, & Society class spring semester of his senior year. He lost his starting position to Josh Freeman in the fall. First day of class Prof. Bloodgood took roll:

Dylan: *raises hand*

Whole class: *holds breath/quiet gasp*

It was really awkward being in the classroom. There was only about 35 students in there. Dylan was unmistakable (to everyone but Dr. Bloodgood) with his long hair. Was really sad to see him fall so far so quick...

Quincy Morgan sat next to me in Philosophy 101.

He usually left early if he showed up at all...but ONE DAY HE RAISED HIS HAND..and contributed to the discussion about the Golden Rule. It was amazing.

Had some football players in my Human Development class. I'm not sure who it was because I always sat in the back and they were always in the front row. The prof was that gal that was pretty fun, but then she got cancer, but then she kicked cancer's ass and came back. Anyway, those fball players always contributed and made the whole lecture hall laugh. Actually I think Aaron Lockett was in there, talking about sex and such. It was fun.

Watched the entire starting 5 from the K-State basketball literally climb over each others shoulders to copy a test, while the rest of the large lecture hall got up to turn theirs in, thus creating a big enough wall of humanity to allow multiple tall to extremely tall african-american males to have a conversation as to what to put on the test at normal voice levels whilst leaning over each others shoulders.

Andrew Shull was in my calc recitation. He was pretty much always there. I think he dominated everyone in calculus

Monty Beisel and Quincy Morgan were in my Intro to Mass Com class. Monty always sported the golf/visor hat with bleached hair.

On an unrelated note, I once purchased an "athletic supporter" from Terence Newman at Foot Locker when he was 16 and very skinny.
