When I was in grad school, Justin Williams was in the Botany lab I taught.  Pretty much spent every lab on his cell phone talking to stupid hoes (his words, not mine).

Wife had Thomas "Hollywood" Clayton in her Botany class. I was jealous.
Where did you get that overnight bag?

Don't even remember what class it was, but it was a big "non-ag" class and it was over in the ag buildings across from moore, but I had Joe-Bob in that class. Every day about halfway through the class the instructor would give him a few coins and he'd head out and put them in the parking meter for the instructor.  Pretty sure he was there every day.

Let Michael Bishop borrow my criminal justice notes once.  Was instantly embarrassed about the lame doodles I made in the margins, but he just laughed.

Had Joshua Moore in Expos. my freshman year. I think he only missed 2 or 3 classes.

Fall 2002. Ell and I think it was Danny Morris always came late to Mass Comm. usually walking right in front of the class and letting the doors slam behind them. For whatever reason they tried to sneak in early the Monday after destroying Nebraska only to have the prof. start off a standing ovation for them in the lecture hall. Surprisingly a lot of people never even knew who they were or that they were in the class judging by the reactions.

Anthony Beane and I were buddies who sat next to each other in Cultural Anthro.  His attendance was so-so.  Think he was only sitting by me because I sat with some hotties from the tri-delt house who were all over my crap.  He got there late one time and walked all the way to front.  I didn't realize what he was doing....looking for Limestone.

He came back and finally spotted me.  sat down and said "crap, I was going to leave if I didn't know nobody"

Pullen and Gilbert were in my GEOG100 class, they were there like every day.

Lamark was in my natural disasters class, and he even volunteered for an in-class experiment in which ole Dr. Miller proceeded to make a jackass out of himself.

In a class on Augustine at Manhattan Christian College, Lynn, Terence, Ell and Arthur got so pumped while discussing the transfiguration that the professor, a large, but kind man, had to yell, "This is study hall, not Soul Train!"

Ivan Sulic rarely missed Macro-Econ. Great guy.

By pedaling in common stereotypes like black people dancing and, as a bonus, mocking the rich history of the African-American faith community?

As well as mocking an iconic television program that celebrated the black culture at a particularily contentious time in our Nation's history?

How many layers of oppression shall we peel back?  In the shadows of Juneteenth, on this message board of liberation I fear we may need to start on the inside and work our way out!

Fall 2009 I think.

Sociology class of some kind. We're taking an in class quiz after a lecture.

I look to my left, and some big ol' Hayseed of a football player (A genuine cracker) is just staring at my quiz answers, doesn't even flinch as I look over at him. Then I look to my right, and Ulla Pomele looks me in the eyes and says "Hey, can I see that?"

I push my quiz over to him, and the Hayseed and Pomele look it over, fill their out, and hand it back.
