the percentage of migrant workers in the labor intensive ag jobs I would guess is pretty high.

Part of this is because the USDA has a joke of a guest worker program.

yes, i agree with both statements.

Ok.  Then I agree.  I think the "red herring" is true in the context of the total us economy and undocumented workers.  But not in relation to Agriculture or food as a sector of the economy and illegal labor.

Immigrant, both legal and illegal, labor is going to be disproportional to overall demographics for any labor-intensive job with low pay. Service industry, farm/food processing, construction etc.

Judge blocks Georgia law targeting illegal immigrants

A federal judge in Atlanta, Georgia, has blocked a controversial state law cracking down on illegal immigrants from taking effect until the broader legal issues are resolved.

Monday's order by Judge Thomas Thrash, which CNN has obtained, temporarily prevents enforcement of the law, which would penalize those who transport or harbor illegal immigrants.

The case is Georgia Latino Alliance v. Deal. The law, known as HB 87, was scheduled to go into effect Friday.

Any word on how Travis is taking this news?
