I walked in to a bad situation at my work. The "coffee club" there has 1 commercial sized percolator, and the hayseeds there think it's ok to not only use Folgers medium roast exclusively (wouldn't have a prob with this), but to actually reuse the grounds.  They reuse the same grounds plus they add a couple scoops of new grounds once a day until friday, when they completely change out the grounds and filter.  It's nasty, probably a health risk.  When I asked why they do this it is to "save money on coffee."

Yes! I too have practiced this money saving technique.   When I was 3 years old and my glass of Kool-Aid would get low, I'd simply refill it with water.  Of course, I wasn't drinking Kool-Aid anymore, but it still looked like it.

They are definitely nice when you need a quick cup and some of the coffee is surprisingly good.  They have almost doubled in price in the last year though.

My father-in-law is serious about roasting his own beans and they're better than anything I've found elsewhere. Grinding those and putting it in my french press is amazing when I have 10 minutes or so.  I tried Radina's house blend beans this week and wasn't impressed at all.
