Keeping the other team from scoring 50 pts is the new definition of a "shutout" for this defense. 
This sounds like our D from the past couple years, someone bring up the numbers from last season, I have to see whose D was worse between KSU/Michigan.. I can't imagine another BCS level team having a worse D than us last year, it was the most pitiful thing I have ever seen.. Walk on's by the case load starting on defense for Michigan, in this respected 3-3-5 alignment, 5'9 white guys who weigh like 150lbs starting in the secondary as freshman..
