He probably practices that snarl in front of his mirror at night so he can look like a badass in all of his photos.

OT: non-Ron Prince

was he the guy that was in the porno or was that someone else?
think of him in a porno and then read his player evaluation

Mejia has been a solid camp performer at every stop he has ever made. His top end speed and size may have held him back from some big offers, but he is amazingly quick off of the line and is almost unstoppable in a one-on-one type of situation.

How about James Johnson?  I was so excited when I heard he committed, then I went an looked at his picture....

Great football player and all, but, man, woof.

Who could forget Courtney Herndon?

This guy was a beast.

Also, I remember thinking Courtney Greer was going to be a beast after seeing one of Prince's open practices.

Xzavier Stewart

oh man, his very first play where he blew up the center (iirc there was a fff video made of this)  :surprised:

Mizzou game.  It always felt good when the players I hyped came through, even for one play.

My most vivid memory is Freeman's first game against ku, and for his first play he passed downfield to Mastrud down the middle.  Mastrud had 10 yards on the LB's and there were no safeties in sight.  My buddy laughed and said that it meant he'd get a 15 yard gain on a play that should have gone all the way for a TD.  My buddy was right--Mastrud was dropped 2 seconds after he caught the ball.  Man, he was slow.

Antwon moore and his jump sack

One of my earliest photo-shopping efforts (in the series, he was sacking random non-EMAW things):

"How will I recruit to Manhattan? Well, distance. And the proud state of basketball. It start there, and then daily flights to Dallas, because I'm really good at going out. Like top five good. Ask my wife. She wants me to be happy."

And I still can't get over how dreamy our Prince-era kickers were (I think that's Josh Cherry on the left; I already forgot the other guy):

Great thread.

I liked Ernie Pierce, remember than sick catch vs. OU in 08?

He also had that fantastic post route against Tech in the first quarter before this*:

turned into this:

*yeah, it's actually the same score, which makes birthday princess funnier

One thing about the Prince era, we were rolling along almost every year as NCOYcats.

He and Dold and Watts and Jordy headline the Prince Era's all-white team ("The Diamonds in the Rough Riders"?)

I bring this up sometimes and people are like "Whatever, the dude had like 10 sacks in a season," to which I reply, "LMAO He got about 5 of them against Illinois State.  Debunked.  NEXT."

My freshman year, there were about 8 people, including myself, freemaw and Chris Carney, that passed around a bottle of Captain Morgan upstairs during a house party.

It was the weekend before the Wednesday night Louisville game.
