T-Tech
« on: February 23, 2010, 09:08:49 PM »
Jfc, just ho-humming the crap out of another conference beatdown of a foe on the road in a midweek game.

We basically have kicked our feet up and left our pants hanging so they don't get wrinkled.

For instance, I thought to myself: "Haven't done a Peggy Po's/Nancy Neg's in awhile, would be fun.". But then, I think to myself: "Why?  It would just a perfunctory exercise.  Why force it when there is nothing to add?"

The game are almost (I hate to even say it....) boring.  Never a moment where I thought "oh crap!"

I love seeing our resume and it says "none" for bad losses.

Yeah.

I really was ticked for much of the 2nd half b/c I was afraid we'd let them stay around 9-10 points and give them a chance for Lubbock magic.  Then all of a sudden Denis hits a couple 3s and we're up 17.

Its hard to get used to being good I guess.

I am almost getting pissed that these SLTHs aren't hustling to throw some junk defense/offense at us to give us some tourney prep.  At least doc and bz, did their due diligence Knight!

I love the fact that we seemed to be playing bad and we still win by that much

This.  I think we as a fan base have a large hump to get over.  Thank god the players have the confidence that us as long time Kazzu fans don't at this point.

I enjoyed knowing Bobby was sitting there calling our foul shot incorrectly and thinking we needed to set more screens.

Edf has seen a lot more good basketball than I have.  I'm just speechless at how rough ridin' perfect this season has been.  I mean what the hell am I supposed to say?  I'm supposed to bitch about a double digit win in Lubbock?  I'm supposed to scold Jamar for free throws or Kelly for his over agressive perimeter D?

I guess I could dobbie up some drool piece on denclems and the historic nature of the win, but then what would you read in dscott's tweets and meek/manbeck/kellis/kitchen write-ups?

I'm dumbfounded.  I'm excited, but anxious.  I'm overjoyed, but just beginning to truly ponder the implications.  I'm happy but aware of the weight of expectation.

The back slap foul on a 3 point shot was pretty lol-worthy.

I think my favorite EDF talking point was Julian Wright passing to the tuba player in the KU pep band.  Guy used that one all the time.

I was hoping like hell he'd hit it.  He hasn't made a freaking 3 since like UNLV.
