Hit up another local watershed yesterday with a buddy. He wanted some fish to fry so we strung some nice eater size bass and one really nice crappie. He was catching all of his on a spinnerbait, I caught all of mine on a flipping tube.

Hit a local lake this evening with my uncle in his boat. Got into some small bass schooled up out in the middle. Nice evening.

The stuff behind is tackle boxes and random fishing gear/backpacks.

Caught both the bass while trying to catfish under a bobber, one on cut bluegill, the other on chicken livers.

Had around a 10lb catfish on as well but it wrapped itself around a submerged log :(.

I counted 8 different people standing in the middle of the river with throw nets catching fish, even a couple standing on top of the weir/waterfall throwing nets belows. The males would net a bunch of fish, bring them over to the shore where the female's/kids would throw them straight on the fire, no cleaning or anything.

Then in about 5 minutes they would pull the whole fish off the flames and eat it with their hands.

I actually caught those 2 big bass while fishing for catfish with a bobber. The 21 inch bass hit some cut up blue gill I had floating and the 19 incher hit on some chicken livers.

I had a pretty big catfish on my line, maybe 10lbs, but it tangled itself around a submerged log near the bank. Took out a little cano they had on the banks and was able to untangle the line but the cat ended up breaking off the hook
