Very recently I witnessed two strangers arguing over who got to keep the shell of a massive road killed snapping turtle. Was very redneck'y.

Headed down to the zarks this weekend and plan on absolutely DESTROYING some catfish and bass.

That stupid catfish is going to be chilling trying to get a quick meal of cut of blue gill then BAM, I JERK THAT STUPID FISH RIGHT OUT OF THE WATER and he will be all like OMG CROAK CROAK CROAK I CANT BREATHE CROAK CROAK CROAK BUT IT DOESNT REALLY MATTER BECAUSE I CAN GO LIKE 20 MINUTES OUT OF THE WATER. croak croak croak

Then I will pose for pictures with him and pass him around to all my bro's so they can make comments like "Wow, I didnt know there were catfish that big right off my dock" or "Great catch ben ji, you sure do know how to catch fish"

Then on saturday morning I'll be all hung over but we will decide to get in my bro's lil john boat and do some bass fishing. I'll probably catch like 10 MASSIVE LARGEMOUTH BASS and they will be all like WTF, I JUST WANTED TO EAT THAT LITTLE PLASTIC MINNOW AND NOW I HAVE SOME GIGANTISORUS HUMAN STICKING HIS THUMB IN MY MOUTH.

O NO BRIGHT LIGHTS, MAYBE IF I FLIP AROUND REALLY HARD HE'LL LET ME GO, but wait dammit, HE IS HOLDING MY JAW IN A WAY THAT IMMOBILIZES ME AND NOW I CANT DO ANYTHING.

Good news guys, the water has warmed and the catfishes have moved into their holes to start spawning and you guessed it, that means the noodling is hot right now

Got a 5 lb blue and a 10 lb flathead today

That flathead was a beauty, tough to get to as it's hole was under a slab of rock that I just could barely touch with my toes as my nose was treading water. I took a deep breath, swam down and had to get my arm in the hole all the way to my shoulder before I felt her mouth. She was a gentle one though, came right out with hardly a fight

I also noodled 2 carp and a largemouth bass. I know that you probably won't believe thay but it really happened

Did you fry them up?

I typically make catfish nuggets and bread them in flour/salt/pepper/paprika then throw them in some oil.
