I have to say, Beamer, that is a very impressive picture of Self. Although I would really like to despise Self, I can't because he really is an excellent coach. Therefore, I have great respect and admiration for him.

I am really enjoying the fact that both Kansas teams are exceptional this year. Overall, it brings great national basketball respect to our state.

Saying this, I still want to beat the crap out of KU every chance we get.

Based on head-to-head records I was going to suggest Pat Flannery but he no longer coaches, so I will say Jim Les.

nobody has taken adv of an unbalanced schedule better than self i'll give him that.  if tex or ou played the same schedule they'd prob have half those titles at least, and prob a share of the rest.

I'm glad we are finally taking advantage of this.  Though we'll likely finish 7-3 vs the North, the goal should be 8-2 minimum given the current state of the Nortards.

the nortards are better, collectively, than they've been during any of the martin years.  ku/ksu/mu are undefeated against them because they're better, collectively, than they've been during that span.  and also, because they've been lucky.
