UT can do better than ADJC.  ADJC hasn't established himself as a top-level AD yet.  Hell, he hasn't even had a big coaching hire.  Still waiting for oscar Pearl.

Keeping Deb from bolting was a pretty big hire.

Good point.  That's definitely something to put on the resume.

The Old Muppet guys would be fantastic.

"Did he say keep thinking small?"

"No, I think he said, We should add a limestone wall."

"Why would we ever do something like that?"

crap, next time we make a bad hire at AD (which will happen again at some point), we need to do it right. Team muppets.

Very good.  Bill's favorite movie is Pinnochio, perhaps he could be smiling and doing the voices with his fists inside them?

bill to AD, sean to HC

We could only be so fortunate.  Horrible football and everything we build will look like a Golden Corral.
 I gotta admit. You guys say some pretty funny crap here!

Serious question, has Bo interviewed with TOSU yet?

Why leave NU now, when you probably have a 5 year (at least) window to dominate the Buckeyes?

He's an Ohio State alum and would be completely rough ridin' Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) to not take that job if Ohio State offered it. I'm not sure Ohio State is interested in him, though.

Pretty sure an AAU school would expect their coach to be, at least, semi-literate.

Yeah, Bo would murder his brother for that job, but Ohio State probably doesn't want some maniac who spits in everyone's faces and pisses his pants roaming the sidelines.

It depends on what kind of sanctions OSU gets, but things are looking pretty bleak there..

I think he'd be better served to wait it out for 4-5 years at a great place like Nebraska, and then be the guy who steps in after the sanctions are over.. They are looking at penalties that are more than likely going to be stiffer than USC's, I don't think you leave Nebraska to step into a situation like that.. If he was at UCONN or even a place like Texas Tech, then yeah, I could see him doing that kind of Kiffin did UT for USC (when they had a similar black cloud over the program) think it'd be a bad move being at a place like Nebraska..

I've been meaning to ask who your biggest rival is, Ohio St. or Michigan St?

For us it's definitely Texas and then ku.  Just curious how you Michiganders view things.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

Excellent question Wabash.

I wonder if MisG understands just how huge, yet misunderstood the CTR is??

The sanctions will buy the next coach a lot of time, and that job just doesn't come open every 4-5 years. If you want the job, you have to take it when it's offered.

Why would Ohio St. want to hire someone who couldn't win the Big 12 in any of his 4 seasons as head coach?

If offered, Bo needs to jump yesterday.

I mean, in the Big XII, kids choose from playing in hay field 1, hay field 2, or some racist river city so why not go to NU.  In the Big 10, though....

I just don't see Nubb doing there what they did here.

OSU and it isn't even close, in football you think about OSU everyday of the year.. You watch all their games pay attention to their recruiting, etc,etc... MSU isn't even really considered a rivalry to us except for when they beat us (because their fans get so freaking annoying) which, up until the RR era happened like once or twice a decade.. They are like an annoying chiuhaha (sp?), always yapping and nipping at your heels, but harmless.. ND is generally considered a bigger rivalry to us than MSU, except for when we lose to MSU like I said, losing to them sucks worse than anything..

In basketball, MSU and to a much lesser extent Duke are probably our only 2 rivalries.. Don't really care at all about OSU BBall at all even though they have been good since Matta arrived.. MSU in basketball is just below OSU in football in terms of passion/hatred (although, I admit I do like Izzo and think he is a fantastic/class act coach)..

and like that, a budding rivalry was born.  Wolverine v Cat?  hmmm.

last i checked cats feed on wolverine carcus like it's going out of style

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Hahaha.  Yeah, I hear you.  Little brothers in-state that want to be your rivals can be so annoying!

We're pretty much all Texas all the time down here.  I honestly can't remember the last time I didn't wake up in the morning and the first thing on my mind wasn't our next CTR in football or basketball!

It's tough being us, I mean there's Texas all wanting to be our rivals and being  :curse: because we kick their ass so often.

Now we've got Michigan all bowed up and wantin a taste of the futility Texas feels at their core.
