I hardly ever burn, but last year at the UCLA game, I got a sunburn on my face so bad that it scabbed up forcing me to resemble Harvey Dent for a week. Truly gruesome stuff.

I wear an excessive amount of sunscreen if there's any chance of being burnt. I don't mind the burning feeling, but the itching/dry skin feeling after a couple days is unbearable. Not worth the tan I get afterward.

Got my ears burnt all to hell one time at Beaver Creek. crap hurt so bad I actually had to cover them when underneath bright lights. Never really though about putting sunscreen on my ears before then.

keep your aloe in the fridge and apply it while still nice and cold

I visit friends in FL or TX at least one weekend a month in the fall/winter months for this exact reason.

I always used to get massive sunburns whenever I went to the beach, then I invested in sunscreen
