OJ was a giant black man at the height of his popularity when he chopped the heads off of a blonde barbie and her ken looking boyfriend.  He did this in the driveway of a house he paid for and the ken was driving a car that OJ paid for.  There was blood evidence at his house and on his stuff.

Casey Anthony was tried for murder when there was no cause of death.  The prosecutor seemed to focus on the fact that she was guilty because she got her drink on while her kid was missing.  Add to this Casey's family was willing to be party to wild lies to save their daughter/little sister.

There was only one Johnnie Cochran, RIP.

Serious question.  How is even possible to be tried for murder when a cause of death can't be determined?  If you don't know how someone died isn't that in itself reasonable doubt that said person was murdered?

But in each case it was the entire news media and therefore the world vs the accused, and the accused won. Baez = Cochran

First of all media sentiment has dick to do with what happens in the courtroom.  OJ got off because the LAPD and the LA County Attorney were quick and careless and OJ's legal team were smart enough to exploit literally all of their mistakes.  Despite the screw ups there was plenty of evidence because OJ was a terrible murderer.  This is the same dude who thought he could roll into a Vegas casino with guns and ski masks break into a room & get away with it.  Casey Anthony was a much better killer.  Her victim and her parents certainly helped with that.

Secondly, you are completely misjudging the anti-OJ sentiment back then.  I am genuinely surprised one of your people didn't Oswald/Ruby him.  I had people mad at me that he was acquitted and I was 19 years old and not one of those coons dancing in the street like slavery ended.  If goEMAW.com existed then, the thread wouldn't have been as hilarious like this one.

if your point is that they were very different trials and that some parts of each made the accused look more guilty than other parts but that overall, the majority of America believed them each to be very, very, guilty... then I agree.
