I remember before the game on the jumbotron they had a quote that said something like "hey OU, welcome to the top 10...for a week" or something like that.

I am still haunted by that. I was 11 or 12 and when I saw that I thought, "Crap, we just jinxed it."

Remember when Bishop threw a ball out-of-bounds right next to one of our receivers and the refs called it grounding? Loved being able to use the talking point "Our quarterback is so good that that WAS grounding for us" for the rest of the season after that.

OU in 2000. When TNew took that ball to the house it was THE LOUDEST MOMENT EVAR in BSFS it has ever been.

USC in 2002 was loud in reference to how loud the entire game was.

sorta lol at threads like this. "omg it was so loud in 2000!" "no it was way super louder in 2001!" yeah, we are all well aware that our football stadium made lots of noise at certain times in the somewhat recent past. awesome story guys.
