It's pretty crazy.  I could GAF what something costs or what a bar tab or dinner bill is but I hoard airline and hotel miles like they are solid gold nuggets.    I always tell myself that if I paid more attention to what I was spending I could easily get back much more than what I get from miles but it just isn't the same.

Also, at tax filing time I present tons of write offs that I spent a shitload of money on and document them religiously.  Most of them are huge bar tabs and stupid expenditures but then I get all anal about taxes and making sure I get credit for all those ridiculous purchases.

I don't even look at the cost of any of that stuff.  If one of them got me extra airline miles I would pick it though (no matter what the cost difference was).
