I have heard that about Clearwater.  Unfortunately, I have some super annoying and sketchy fam there and am not going to even try that.

Want to go w/ the SO and ~10 friends for NYE in Cabo or Playa del Carmen...

Suggestos?    All inclusive is the way to go right... envision bingeing on the beach and eating lots of food.

If there are two damn airports with curvy train track sculptures, I'm going back to my policy of not gonna guess because airports all look the same.

I live in Omaha is a primary factor. 2 hour layover in DEN is secondary.

Denver.

Anyone been to Amelia Island?

I was there for a couple days in January on business. Stayed at the Ritz. Wasn't really there long enough to form too may opinions other than the golf course kind of sucked, at least for what they charged. Nice hotel, beach was nice, but it was still January.

Ditto. Ritz is nice. Not much positive to say about the area. I'd rather go north to St Simon Island or south to St Augustine.

Ireland and Amsterdam. Any can't miss things in either location? Doing a trip in April to both. Wanted to pick areas we both haven't been and see more than one country

Denver ppl, going there this week.  Staying at the Magnolia Hotel at 17th and Stout.  What is good stuff to do there during afternoons and evenings?  Preferably walkable.

pop into Charlie's place on 14th, right by the old greasy spoon diner.  ask for Hal, he'll make you the best old fashioned you'll ever have in your life.

Agree with both

For food, look at the Larimer Square area which is where the Green Russell is.  Get edibles if you want to get high so you don't have to worry about hotel smoking policies.  Uncle is a short drive and really good food and not expensive.  You could Uber it for like $5 each way.  Sushi Den is absurdly good for sushi in the middle of the US.
