So you guys really can't see how using the word "gay" in a derogatory or demeaning fashion might be harmful to someone who's gay?  Anyone who does it is basically saying that being gay is inferior, or beneath them.

That wasn't really the point.  The point is that perceiving a gay person as inferior or sub-human is mumped up and wrong.  Don't worry, though.  From now on I'll diversify my sentence structuring and increase my use of synonyms so that my posts on phog.net look completely different than my posts on goEMAW.  Or maybe you guys could just quit obsessing over me and quoting my posts from another board?
