I mean, no one thinks its a MUST SEE to find out if Texas can eventually beat Kstate?

and only one North team is listed on Ubben's survey..and its Mizzou...who has a ridiculously horrible head coach.

I'm not saying Pinkel is bad but he had 2 top 10 draft picks and couldn't win the conference, then got smoked in his bowl game by an Iowa team playing its second string.

I'd obviously prefer him to Sean, but I don't think he is some elite level coach.  They seem to continually underperform.

Other than the general inflated ego of your average Mizzou fan, Larry Smith's "success" makes Pinkel seem great in relative terms. Combining the two creates the Pinkel is a great coach myth...When objectively, he is a pretty average coach.

Good recruiter, horrible game day/game plan coach.  Has had a couple of assistants that have went on to bigger things, but overall staff pretty Meh.
