talked to jim leavitt yesterday

was celebrating the big game seven victory at "the tank" when paloaltoCAT spotted jim leavitt and informed me. immediately i zoomed to him. luckily, i was wearing a "willie" kstate shirt, and the black kstate authentic bball shorts. I was ready to go. he was with his wife/gf and she seemed a bit annoyed by me, but that's ok. Leavitt was great, loved the randomness of seeining an emaw at a sharks game.

highlights
1)wanted to coach in nfl over college
2)loved his time in manhattan. said we were "amazing" people and was very genuine.
3)thought i was aw some.
4)wanted to be close his parents ()??)
5) didn't really seem like he considered ksu much.
6) i asked  him how much time snyds has left. he called him resillent, then laughed and said "two more years"

i guess i could have posted this on the goEMAW.com subscriber only boards, but I am an EMAW first, and a "goemawer" last.

So did we overreact by getting angry at Snyder for not hauling in Leavitt?  You make it sound like he would not have come here even if Snyder had pulled out all the stops.  Should have grilled him a little more on whether there was any possible way Snyder could have convinced him to come here.  Then we would know the proper amount of blame to assign.
