Probably a combination. Probably start off with "omg look cows and fields" followed by "here's some normal everyday folks eating food with their shirts tucked in"

I think they squeezed every midwestern sterotype into one show.  Nice work Food network!

Not sure if non midwesterners believe its possible to be a lethargic, non-carniverous, non-poverty stricken midwestern hick capable of spending more than $5 on a meal. I'd probably fall into this category (sans vegan).

Was rooting for the chinks just so we could lose the racist stereotype.
