Sleep, interrupted
« on: May 05, 2011, 12:51:34 PM »
What's the most annoying thing that wakes you up.

For me it's got to be sleep shits. Seems to hit between 3-5 a.m. and they can't be held back very long. Seems like it takes forever to get back to sleep after this occurs. Actually annoying that it interrupts my sleep and I can't enjoy a good crap because I'm so pissed about being up.

I hate when I wake up at like 4:30 in a panic that I missed my alarm and realize it won't be going off for another 45 min.

sd:  sound like what it would probably sound like if a guy was breaking into my house via a basement window but was trying to be sneaky about it

mrs dave:  the sound of a softball bat being drawn quietly out from under the bed / softball bat being put back under the bed 5 minutes later

This is absolutely terrible. Do you even attempt to go back to sleep at that point?

Love when this happens. It's like, "crap I gotta get up!" and then "no I don't! I get to sleep longer!" Then you sleep longer.

Sleep craps?  wtf, do you have crohn's disease or something?  I usually wake up hot because I've drank too much.  Booze.. :shakesfist:
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

Except when your brain kicks in from the fake panic and it won't stop.  Trying to force 45min of sleep is horrible.

This is what happens to me. Usually end up making a big breakfast when this happens though, so it does have a small silver lining.

A couple months ago I had to poop so bad, that in my dream I could feel myself having to poop. So, I woke up and pooped. Then, after I pooped i couldn't go back to sleep like you said. It's awful
