heard no one was shot but they blocked off the roads

Driving back into town saw the RCPD roping off the road with crime scene tape. One cop was looking real hard at the grass. I just knew he was looking for bullet casings. Or maybe crack rocks.

So not only are you shot dead, but people think you were a crack abuser too. Evil. On the other hand, if you are just wounded then you get a nice crack high to take the edge off. Point/counterpoint I guess.

Lets talk Texas Roadhouse here, you guys.

I drove by Saturday night and there wasn't just a line out the door, it was a god damn parade. Must have been at least 100 people outside at 7 o'clock. Crazy that people would wait that long for a mediocre chain like that...

Keltic Star was pretty great, but pretty limited menu. I got the mashed potatoes as a side which was a mistake. There were about 5 spoonfuls of mashed potatoes, and Mrs. Jakesie got a platter full of chips for her side.

The atmosphere was amazing, especially considering what it used to be. Definitely worth checking out.
