Had my first Hawaiian Bros experience recently.
One of my kids was really excited about it.
It was fine. Had some salty chicken with rice that was fine.
Doesn't seem like there was much to set it apart from salty chicken with rice that you can get at Panda or Chen's Chinese.
Am I missing something?

supposedly it used to be good when it first came on the scene, but your experience mirrored mine every time I tried it. It also got worse and more expensive at the same time.

The pig is good. So is the pineapple BBQ sauce. Anytime I get one of the chicken dishes I'm disappointed

I mean, it is fine. Just really didn't seem to scratch an itch that couldn't be better scratched in other (well-established) ways.

Beefaroo is fine. Judging by how busy the place is, it probably won't last.

New Chipotle by Wally World is coming right along.

I haven't heard a whole lot of good about Spark Burger but maybe I'll have to give it a try. Can't believe they're building another chipotle when they can barely staff the current one.

Disclaimer: i don't get out much but it was a really good burger.

we've been going to qdoba for a while now, mainly due to location. Will have to see how this one does.

Well it's time to grieve, I have. The potential sale to the owners of the Lawrence and Topeka pizza shuttles feel through. It's over. FWIW, I had shuttle this summer and it was mid, at best. They didn't even have the logo on the boxes anymore.
