Daris was right....

so were you. I ate at jp's Saturday afternoon and it was fantastic. going to start going there more.
been there once. Was underwhelmed. Should I give it another try?

fantastic was too strong of a word, but i'll definitely start working it into the mix and think it's probably worth you trying again. I guess you'd have to put it up against places like powercat grill and maybe tanners for fair comparisons and what I had was better than what you'd get at either of those.
yeah this. plus beer selection and price for beer is pretty fantastic..

JPs?

http://housing.k-state.edu/dining/retail/

Just ate there today.  It's really good.
Ah right on, I had an office party there once.  Was good.  Need to try them for lunch.

The biggest issue with JPs is accessibility for people who don't live in Jardine. I'm interested to see how the new version that is part of the Union expansion turns out.

yeah it's pretty tough if you don't live in jardine. i drove my car there. parked. walked about eighty feet and then sat down inside the restaurant.

SoftTacoWallace and myself and maybe a handful of others went to JPs during the lightning delay at the UCF game a few years back.  Talk about an elite and insidery hangout for that delay.  A who's who, really.

Well obviously no one is going to give a parking ticket to a police car so that makes sense for you.

Civilians have the option to park in one of the four meter spots, roll the dice that parking services won't give you a ticket, or park in someone's driveway on Jarvis.

I enjoyed postgame paking at JP's while waiting for the east lot to clear out after dobercats games but the tap selection was a bit of a disappointment

station is auctioning off all their tables, chairs, bar stuff, kitchen stuff online this week.

also, hibachi hut food etc isn't terrible or anything but eff if I want to ever eat there again because of the ridiculous understaffing. every single time I've been, there's like one bartender and two waitresses and a ten minute wait to get my drink order and then another fifteen to actually get the first drink. every. single. time. absolutely absurd.

Service was pretty slow Wed. night. thankfully it wasn't too busy at the time.
Sometimes I think of the Book of Job and how God likes to really eff with people.

I had the Tortas at La Hacienda this weekend. Had their big burrito before. Muy Bueno.

The owner recommended the Hirachas and Gorditas to me the next time I'm in town.
