I'm going to go to Hibachi Hut this weekend. I will report back if Daris is being a big fat face or not

might as well go ahead and submit that report now, because my mhk restaurant and food reports are second to only bunters on this blogiste.

on an mhk food sidenote, I have to eat up at mcc for the first time in three years this weekend and am not looking forward to it at all. is there a worse food experience in mhk? not sure.

Anybody know when this is opening?
crap I was just about to post a pic of this I snapped last night.

The place isn't close to being done inside and still has signage from the printers and Varneys on the windows.

I'm kinda worried about the health of the ville and MHK in general.  LOTS of retail space available everywhere and some of the prime locations have been sitting for a long time.  Not sure if it's rent or interest driving it.

Probably a combination of the rent being too damn high and the growth of downtown.

Downtown has had some, but not as much as you might think.  More importantly, it's a totally different business venture between the two. *I should have said commercial et al space or something to include restaurants*

Bidder #25037 is going for alllll of the TVs at like $100 to $160 each.

Yea, quite a few of those lots are going to come off of the bidding site here shortly. Grumblings/ rumblings are starting to stir.

what kind of grumble/rumbles?

Someone who has been out of the bar game for a little while, is planning on getting back into it.

so this whole time i thought the Station closing thing was just everybody gE'ing around  :frown:

so really what happened tho?

Poor management, for the most part. (Not a shot at my guy, erii).

Be careful if you go on weekdays for lunch. The food is good, but in my experiences it is very difficult to get in and out in less than an hour.

fantastic was too strong of a word, but i'll definitely start working it into the mix and think it's probably worth you trying again. I guess you'd have to put it up against places like powercat grill and maybe tanners for fair comparisons and what I had was better than what you'd get at either of those.
