That makes no sense and sounds like a terrible idea.

finally had Taphouse last week, pretty good. not a fan of their fries though... they put something like cheese?seasoning? on them that i wasn't a fan of. they've definitely scaled down the menu since they opened. the tallgrass burger is very good, so is the meatloaf (only had a bite of it).

I hope that's different than the meatloaf I declared horrible, or else your taste buds are useless.

seems pretty dramatic to label it "horrible." maybe you just don't like meatloaf :dunno:

Academy Sports?
Walmart Neighborhood Market?

Also have heard Varneys is on tough times with GTM Superstore busting open.  Have heard want of a grocery store in the Ville too, but not there.

The meatloaf is the only thing worth* getting food wise, imo. The burger tasted like :barf:

I'm astounded that more than zero people have gone to a restaurant and ordered meatloaf.

A recent review of "academy" going back 60 results says no. Unless you're talking about Varney's/GTM in which case that was a response to others.

here's some more deets on that meatloaf sandy:

sliced: very thin. less than 1/2 inch. the meatloaf slice was thinner than either slice of bread. what a joke. the meatloaf thickness needs to be at least equal to the total bread thickness, ideally double.

dryness: this meatloaf was dry as eff. i like my meatloaf dripping moist.

flavor: the only flavors i could detect past the dryness were fennel and rye. rye from the very rye bread. shitloads of fennel in the meatloaf.

the only way i could safely consume this meatloaf sandwich without it fusing permanently to my tongue was totally soak each bite in honey mustard sauce.

i have a new recipe for him:

make a good meatloaf (juicy). (just pick like the top reviewed meatloaf on allrecipes.com)

slice off a 3.00" thick cross section of that bad boy.

place between two 0.75" thick slices of butter toasted sourdough.

top with grilled onions, claussen dill chips, fatty slice of cheddar cheese and then pour about a cup of that special rosemary gravy over the whole thing

pro tip- pan fry the 3" thick cut of loaf, caramelizing the proteins on each side of the beef prior to sandwich assemble procedure
