MHK has some of the best grocery store chinese food around, though. hyvee chinese is #1 and dillons (west side) is #2

I see both sides...

PROS: You don't forget anything on your list, less hassle

CONS: No impulse buys, added expense

I like to see what I buy and usually don't know half of what I'm getting until I'm at the store. I'm also very selective about produce. This sounds like a great service for some, but no thanks.

the mhk hyvee is/was a huge disappointment. i used to live by a fantastic one on 6th and kasold in lawrence and thought ours would be like that. it's not. the mhk hyvee is a poorly constructed mini-maze of randomly placed food w/ the meat dept being it's only redeeming feature. but like puni said, they built it in st george. PASS!
The Manhattan HyVee is backwards from the other HyVees I've been in.

Had hyvee deliver groceries tonight for the first time.   Was awesome.

What made it awesome? Just wondering why having groceries delivered to your casa is an event. Not judging, mind you.  :dunno:

Not having to fight the traffic at the store and haul around a kid.   A few clicks of the mouse and the guy carried them into the kitchen

How much did you pay for delivery?

It's free for $100+.

I think it's $4 for under $100.  You can also do curbside pickup.

I hate shopping at Topeka HyVee because things are so random.    We usually shop Dillons, but if they'll deliver for free, they will probably get some more of our business.

YMMV, but the produce they brought was exactly what I'd have picked.   No issues there.   We got tomatoes, apples, avocados, cilantro, and pears.

If the MHK Hyvee is going to deliver my groceries to me for $4, I should start doing that. cost of time+ aggravation+ gasoline > delivery fee.

Sunday afternoon hungover grocery shopping sounds like a very enjoyable activity to do from my couch.

I'm pretty sure the mhk hyvee is an applied iq test and a lot of you are scoring in the 70's. I've never once had a difficult time finding anything at any grocery store ever

Hey, here's a wild idea... Let's hide all of the things people shop for behind a wall of birthday cards and gluten free snacks!
