Did anyone ever find out exactly what happened to Bullchicks?

Don't worry, myself, seven, and EMAPE are in talks to bring it back.

Interesting. Still wondering what happened, tho.

If I had to guess, not enough people realized how amazeballs it was and they weren't making any money.

Ate at Wabash with Ging on New Years day.  Owner guy was there and talked to us and weirded us out.

Was in there a few times, place was packed and the food was good.   :dunno:

as it turns out, when you've never worked in the restaurant business you can't just open a place up and expect it to succeed.

i'm probably wrong, but i swear to god i could.

They couldn't find a GM to work for what they were offering.

@mikestanton14: He also hinted to pay attention to what goes in at the old K-Mart. Said nothing's certain, but his "intel" says it will be very popular.
thought it was going to be a kohls  :dunno:

It's going to be a Sams Club  :surprised:

some townie mod feel free to rearrange the last few pages into the proper MHK townie thread.

alright, so i had the Caribbean jerk chicken and it was pretty decent.  i had been craving some grilled chicken pretty hard lately, and for some reason that's not really offered in the 'ville (at least at the places i go to).  could barely taste the jerk sauce tho next time i'll have to order some on the side or something.

um, they have a million kinds of chicken fingers so i'm probably going to be there every night.

um, they have 3-6pm happy hour and 10-1am happy hour.  both looked pretty pud tho.

um, everyone in there minus the staff were total uggos and it was decently busy.  like, the all the gpcPAK'rs in the corner would be in the top 5 of attractive people in the place (i was number 1)

overall, probably a good place to eat/watch a game, but i'd never be in there past 10

Shitty, generic "sports bar" with cheap, terrible food?  Yeah, I'm sure it's similar.

Ps, not knocking it.  It is what it is.  It's a place to drink beer.  Shitty sports bar certainly serves it's purpose from time to time.  Like, the quaff in KC, for instance.

I liked it. Tons of TVs. They did a great job on it, but maybe too many tables imo.

I'd take that over Oysters. . .they are just OK.  Yet I'd still enjoy hearing what everyone would suggest I try.  I've never been to a Tanners, I have never been in the building that houses Karnivore, and I'm intrigued that Kaws serves food.
