i'm sure i was one. i mean a brand new and very clean/nice looking bar and grill with a rooftop patio in aggieville? seemed like a can't miss. haven't been there in over two months though? how are they doing? bad i take it?
Well they started out with the most expensive drinks in Aggieville to having prices comparable to Johnny Kaw's and Kite's. The only appeal they have is the rooftop, so maybe they'll do alright once it gets nice out again. But they'll be fighting this battle against winter every year that they're open.
Their indoor atmosphere just isn't a great environment, especially for the food that they serve. And their owner pissed off a lot of other owners in Aggieville by being a douche. I mean, he'd go into other places before they opened, talk about how great his bar was going to be over a couple of drinks, then not tip. At some point he made a comment to a beer rep about how he couldn't wait to open this bar, sit back and just watch the money roll in. But as it turns out, when you've never worked in the restaurant business you can't just open a place up and expect it to succeed.
