I ate at Karnivore last night and really enjoyed it. Great food, but for the time being it's kind of weird because I imagine it will be pretty slow until a bunch of people try it and spread the word. The atmosphere is a little bland due to lack of people, but it's a great place to go sit at the bar and watch a game with a bro. It probably doesn't help that it's downtown and the only people who go down there are super old and wouldn't want to eat BBQ.

told a squawk friend of mine that downtown mhk was being revitilized with a bunch of resturants and she said "it's like 5 blocks from aggieville, who gives a crap, they are basiclly the same place".

just across the alley from the current one on third street. instead of being on vattier it'll now be on bluemont right by the roundabout. i predict hilarity to ensue with that set up but who knows.

my guess is that they'll realize putting it right next to a roundabout was a fail and they'll have to build some sort of double decker roundabout w/ mcd cars on one level and people trying to get places on the other. maybe even install a drive through menu ordering screen or something.

no, they tore down the houses right to the west of that gas station. it's right at the ne corner of the roundabout.

More Dara's stuff.. In order to compete w/ the QT that will inevitably be coming in they will soon be adding a liquor store on to green valley dr Dara's. And will be remodeling a lot of or all if the stores

yes. put it out of it's misery. re: QT- do we really think they are coming? also the daras/mini mart whatever on the corner of 11th and laramie? anyone heard what's going in there or why that closed?
