Yeah quite swanky in there. I wonder without a drive thru if it can/will survive though.
Lots and lots of competition in town. The lack of a drive thru would seem to be a big disadvantage.

I thought the website was funny. It's kind of an interesting theme.
I did not make the connection that they are connected to the Roasterie in KC until I looked at their website. Roasterie used to have this coffee counter in cafeteria at the KU Hospital. Still the best drip-brewed coffee I've ever had.

I believe Arrow will also be opening a coffee shop next to their cocktail lounge in the old Harry's Deli spot. Gotta assume that will be a death knell for the Flight Crew spot.

Is the cocktail lounge open only for private parties?

It's open to the public but they request you make reservations on their website.

I've had it several times. Generally pretty good. My favorite items are probably the bologna and chorizo, burger in a biscuit and risk it biscuit. Chicken nuggets and pork tacos are good too. It can be messy and overwhelming. The burger and bologna and the triple pig burger are simply too much food for instance.

Trying it now. Got the Risk It Biscuit. Should be a funky adventure.

P. good. Not dazzling, needed a lil more flavor and was hoping for a lil more heat. Def liked it enough to return sometime, though. The mac and chee side was really solid. They were playing techno in there which was funny and wacky. The bathroom had a normal white toilet but a jet black urinal!

There are at least 2 places in MHK that have quesabirria tacos now and at least one with corn in a cup. Why have we not had boots on the ground giving a full report? Also several street taco places.

I believe the tacos were covered in the taco thread...

Yeah that’s a sad deal. I feel like I almost single handedly supported that place in the beginning when it was just the OG building and a shitty slab of concrete with a grill off to the side where he would sear the chicken.

A new Manhattan, Kansas location as well as two new Missouri restaurants in Springfield and Branson are listed in the “coming soon” section of Beef-A-Roo’s website.

What an awful name
Gives them flexibility to seamlessly transition between cows and kangaroos as a meat source.

Do not recommend Spark’s Burger on Poyntz.

Really? Disappointing cause they’re supposed to use local meat. Haven’t tried it yet since they just opened and like to give a place a month first
