no watermelon candy or drink has ever tasted like watermelon before. whole generations of kids have been raised to think that they like watermelon but when they encounter an actual watermelon in the wild they will freak the eff out.

Another faux flavor that really pisses me off.... Banana. I'm pretty sure that Jolly Rancher doesn't make banana flavor but everyone else that has ever attempted makes a really rough ridin' nasty flavor. Example: Runts. .... Banana flavored runts. rough ridin' gross

The peach JR's don't taste anything like Peaches, the watermelon ones also don't taste like watermelon.

Also agree with JT on the fact that no banana flavored candy tastes anything remotely close to a banana.

Can someone also please explain to me why candy corn does not look/taste anything like corn? TIA.

Real watermelons are pretty fantastic but I feel they pale in comparison to a perfectly ripened cantalope.
