Seriously considering dabbling in Pacifism. Want to hear arguments for or against.

Well-armed pacifists. Really the only way you can be a true pacifist without getting your ass handed to you.

I've been an unintentional pacifist most of my life now that I think about it.

Confirmed. I'm picturing asava now wearing designer glasses with no prescription magnification swirling a glass of wine to relax from his 3 mile bike ride after class saying "Pacifism, Pro's? Cons? Hmmmm Modest Mouse, this could take all night"

The Swiss aren't pacisfists, they're just neutral.  Kinda hard to be pacifists when every male over 18 in your country has military training.  That, and the whole Swiss Guard thing.  You don't really think the Vatican is guarded by a bunch of pussies, do you?

Everything jt said was true.  However I have to raise some questions about the efficacy of guards equipped with 16th Century weaponry.

They're called "pikes"

No conspiracy involved.
