shoes should be comfortable out of the store. if they're not, you're doing it wrong.

It took me a day or 2 of lots of walking before I noticed the problem. #sfthings

I'll try a size smaller next time. Another problem is my old bike pedals shredded the rubber at first. New pedals (after the old ones cracked) fixed this. more #sfthings

Need some recommendos for a couple ties. I don't wear them on a regular basis, but when I have to I don't want to look like I pulled one out of my dad's closet, Tia.

Just got a pair of Clark's Bushacres:

Reviews said they're basically the same as the desert boot but with a synthetic sole that lasts longer. They hurt like hell the first couple of days but are breaking in and I think they'll be great.

The tie should cost about half as much as your shoes.

Frankly, I prefer to peruse Dillard's sales tables. I've scored many a good tie that way, especially for a small business owner who doesn't need an everyday tie assortment.

just make sure it doesn't have a glossy look.. you don't want to look like you are wearing a tie from your high school prom
