I think I am going to become an every day sport coat guy soon.  have been considering it for awhile.  I think it's time.

Did you ever do this SD? just curious.

no  :frown:

I'm in on the every day sportscoat wagon.  Works well.

my workplace is very casual. my uniform is a BB non-iron, wool pants or chinos, loafers most days. suit about 1 out of 10'ish only for certain clients or travel. it would be an easy addition to any day of the week. I own multiple sport coats in various seasonal colors and fabrics. It would be easy to wear one to the office almost every day of the week (and a great excuse to collect more). would also un-boring my uniform. need to unlazy myself.

yeah, slim fit. slim fit are also not really that "slim" either. it should just be called "regular". "extra slim" (which I can't pull off) should be called "slim", "regular" should be called "blousy" and "traditional" should be called "sailboat sail".

slimz and y-l_a are both on the right path. Also, a nice pair of shoes can go a long ways. I get more compliments about my footwear than anything else - from both men and women. Maybe something like this:

Have those.  :gocho:
I mean.. I love oxfords.. but those remind me of 7th grade wearing doc martins.. woof

Just do it (c) SD....sport coats with mismatched pants or jeans is all TURNT up.  Just broke out a cream for spring. Leading the revolution against bank guy suits.

Disagree in my experience.  You must have a weird, shitty torso.

I need to buy a vest to go with a dark grey suit for a banquet tomorrow.  Where is the best place in MHK to find the balance of quality and economical?

Let's say driving 3-4 hours total is a little out of the realm of what I would consider an "economic" purchase

Why didn't you buy the matching vest when you bought the suit like your wife told you to do?  :shakesfist:
(Oh sorry that wasn't meant for you.)
