The sweater I wore today is Oscar de la Renta, whose name I know probably thanks to Joan Rivers.  It's from TJ Maxx.

clams, if your green sweater shrinks, i call dibs.

if you want me to shrink the rough ridin' sweater just ask dude, bush meet beating around.
i honestly don't.  really and truly and honestly, i don't.  my heart just about broke when i read of the demise of Rusty's smart, green sweater.

but if this cruel twist of fate were to happen again, perhaps a silver lining might be found around an otherwise dark cloud.
Why don't you just go shopping together?  You could buy matching sweaters and stop at Starbucks for a latte. :dunno:
i would pay good money for a "shopping and coffee on the plaza with Clams" if it were offered at next year's ff.

expect a bidding war, if it were to be offered at next year's ff.

Haven't seen these posted.

Thoughts? They seem cool in a laid-back So-Cal, but non bro type of way. Downside? They seem like the kind of thing that would look ridiculous on anyone but most tall, slender, and handsome. So, basically just ridiculous.  Intriguing though.

Some more pics.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

I've decided I'm going to buy a shemagh.  Would love if I could find it in like a houndstooth/plaid type patter.  I wouldn't ever wear it over my head/face, more of an alternative to a scarf.  Also would never wear to the airport.

Do people think that dress pants are uncomfortable?  That blows my mind.

They aren't uncomfortable in the physical sense.  If it's a day where I'm dressed to the 9's first thing I do when I get home is change.  Makes me feel more relaxed.

i'm not sure that dress pants themselves are uncomfortable but the stuff that goes along w/ them typically are. at least for me anyway. tight belts, thin socks, collar shirts w/ buttons by wrists, then you add in ties and you're starting to think to yourself that these pants can go eff themselves. is it the pants themselves or guilt by association i don't know and honestly don't care. birds of a feather, dress pants.

Short of some dress shoes and having to hit that final button to wear a tie, I am really not that more or less comfortable in dress clothes than reg clothes

Here's the sitch: casual Friday, jeans, gray/black striped sweater.

What shoes work? Obviously not brown loafers, I have some off white Sperrys, but they seem too casual, thoughts?

you probably wear them a lot and just got used to it. like the guy in that movie that had the rock fall on him and had to cut his arm off to get away and get water and stuff. you're now living your life now five years later and all "yeah i guess i'd rather have that arm but hey nbd and you can't win 'em all". i mean that's your reality. so forgive me if i take your two cents on the subject, spit on them and then throw one of them as far as i can with my left arm and then the other one as far as i can with my fully functioning right arm because i can and because i want to rub it in your one armed face.

Yep shoes and tie really take it to the next uncomfortable level. I have a co worker who wears a tie (he doesn't have to) and still unbuttons the top button to be more comfortable, lol what. Either go all in or take that tie off. If it's after 5 and you're at the bar a little tie loosening is ok, but not at the start of the day
