I think that award works better as the player who "bought in" and didn't quit. Otherwise it is just the "Quit" award.

2008: Bill Walker (coming back)
2009: Colon or Merriewether
2010: Nick Russell or Merriewether again
2011: Victor Ojeleye

We could basically name these awards the year before. Especially the ones involving "inspiration" (upperclassmen who rarely plays) and "hustle" (white guy who can't defend).
