Kansas State, for the third consecutive season, is hosting a spring quarterback battle. For now, it looks like the order is shaking out.Collin Klein, who played extensively last season, sits as the team's starter. Sammuel Lamur would be his backup and Boston College transfer Justin Tuggle is currently at No. 3."That's the pecking order," Snyder said, according to the Kansas City Star.Klein worked mostly as a runner last season, running 76 times for 432 yards and six scores. He threw just 18 passes in 10 appearances, completing 11 for for 138 yards, a touchdown and no interceptions. He's already proven himself as a runner and more than proficient in the zone-read game. Klein was at the helm when the Wildcats ran up a 39-0 lead over Texas this past season, following up that 127-yard rushing performance with 141 yards in a loss to Missouri the following week. For Klein, the task is proving he can be a reliable passer. It's hard to see him not improving as a junior in 2011, but he'll need to be a lot better if the Wildcats are going to be a threat to more than a few teams in the Big 12."They’re all battling, and the battle will continue," Snyder said.
Call me crazy Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) but I think we're gonna be decent this year. 8 wins.

This year's team = KSU 2010 Cats v2.0
It appears we might actually be trotting out a guy incapable of throwing footballs at the football thrower position. So there's that.

Pretty standard OB crap here guys. He'll go with the guy who "knows the system" until Tuggle decides to open the playbook. JT will be the started come August.
i think we might get the same production out of all 3 of them.

"Son. This is why we are wildcats. Hard work, pride, the heart of this country. And if that's not enough for you, you can just move to California with your punk friends."
That's 4 passing touchdowns by Collin Klein today.
AshleyDunkak Ashley DunkakOf all the passes Lamur has sent to the endzone this game, that one was almost successful ... but not quite. It had a chance, though.Favorite Retweet Reply
