So you're saying that just because DT was pretty good and reliable, we won't be as good?  That's the most respected argument I've ever heard.  If you're saying we're going to be worse, you need to make the argument that you think Bryce won't be as productive, explosive, or reliable as DT was...and there is absolutely no evidence that would back that assumption up.  Go to Rivals and search their entire recruiting database for the #1 RB recruit in each class.  The list speaks for itself.  Oh, and the last RB that was the #1 overall recruit in his class was named Adrian Peterson.

Also, our backups this year will be better than Powell.

I don't need to search the entire database to know that Darrell Scott was the #1 RB recruit in the '08 class.  How did he turn out?

Like I said, I hope I'm wrong.  Bryce is very talented but you are going off of potential.  While I certainly recognize Bryce's potential it is just that until he proves it.  It is speculation to automatically say, right now, that he is better than our 6-0 230lb 2nd round back of the past two years.  People seem to lose their head about Daniel when talking up Bryce.  Bryce isn't Adrian Peterson.  He doesn't have Adrian's sudden elusiviness for a big back.  Thomas could make people miss in the hole and was brilliant on cut backs across the line to find the running lane.  That is a talent proven by Daniel.  You're not suggesting anything new to anyone when you keep pounding on me w/ the fact that Bryce is more explosive than Daniel.  I think we all know that...so was Frank Murphy.
Academics is a stupid word.

Academic schools are synonymous for being rich, powerful and exclusive, three things Kansas State is not.

So when people throw the word "academics" around, that's really what they are referencing.

Are you guys forgetting about Robinson?  He's a stud RB too! We will be fine at RB, QB is the biggest issue.  If Tuggle can somehow be accurate on short to mid passes, and every once in a while throw deep, we will be better than last year.  There are a LOT of play makers on this team!  And yeah...health will be the biggest issue, IMO.

Yes.  This whole season will be incredibly forgettable.

You're probably right, but what's the point of even talking about the season if you can't be optimistic about it.

Oops, I was mistaken.  Brown has the record at 1,873 yards.  Robinson rushed for 1,720 his senior year, but If I remember right he had a chance to break it in the state playoffs, but didn't play a couple games because he was injured.

Number 18 RB in the nation... can't suck that bad, right?

Guys I'm going to go ahead and say it.  We will be better than last year.  We will be better on Defense much much better almost as good as a pretty good high school team (up from a mediocre junior high team).  Offense if healthy will also be better if only slightly.  So yes we will be better than last year.

They can be misleading.. Some of the other previous RB's to have record rushing seasons: Darren Sproles, Paul O'Neil

Bryce and Dmac are lazy pieces of crap that are really good at playing football when they decide that they want to be...

Hubert is solid, Ryan Smith and Robert Rose have the ability but lack the size to be consistent contributors/2nd/3rd options

QB - Worse
RB - Worse
OL - Worse
WR - Better
FB - Who cares

DL - Better
LB - Better
defensive backs - Worse

I think the team will be just a little bit worse than last year's team, and the record will also be worse.  :frown:

Snyder will have to focus his personal attention on D to make you right.  If that happens, what happens to an O that lost it's senior QB, has a brand new OL, and lost it's only RB, with carries last season, to the League?  Bill is about to let one ball drop to pick up another one.  Prob similar to Bill showering.  Either that or we are going to see a whole lot of Meh.
