Saturday was fun folks.  Watched it at Tom Fooleries on the plaza with TTHOTC, Mixed-Nutz, MiegeCat and a bunch of other people.  During PK's, the wait staff and cooks and everybody was out just watching the game very intently as if they cared about soccer.  Many DHF's/shots/hugs were had after Palmer missed.

Sounds like Bieler is staying. He's confused as to why he hasn't been playing like we all are.

Galatasaray is rich AF. Not as weird as when he played in Shanghai.

And all my obsession of wanting Drogba, I know there is less than a 1% chance he would come to KC.

Awesome game. Need HSIQ here. What happens if it goes to the 11th PK and both goalies make it and it is still tied?

Go back to the beginning of the order. Rinse and repeat. I was going to make a snarky comment, but I decided against it.

dunno if MLS rules are different (think they were for a while), but you just keep going with the same players who already shot.  don't have to go in same order

Super glad it didn't go to keepers. Have a feeling Nick cashes his and Jimmy shanks it.

Did not know that. Assumed same order.

What are Zusi's career numbers in MLS on PK's? Is this a stat that somebody can find easily? (I didn't look anywhere.)

i just can't describe the roller coaster that game was like. i was discussing with my friends earlier that i would have been so much more sad if we lost than i am happy that we won.

Probably decent. But now he has missed in both the USOC final shoutout and the MLS cup final shoutout.

did you hear Besler this morning on 810 talking about his previous PK session vs Rimando during the USMNT training?  :surprised:

Yeah he already talked about that in one of his interviews directly after the game I believe.

Also, a lot of you probably heard but don't think it's been posted. Jimmy had a couple broken ribs on Saturday. What a man.
