It may have only been the Europa, but, like Scott said, winning is fun:

yup was lots of fun. It is good to add a trophy to the collection and get another shot at UEFA European Super Cup next year.

A little OT: Pretty cool video that I wouldn't have normally shared, but KC gets a nice shout out at the 8:55 mark.

Does anyone EVER hear about this? Doesn't seem like it matters at all.

EDIT: Just looked. I guess it's in December.

been a decent amount of talk of david villa to white hart lane heating up lately.  i've always liked the guy personally, but definitely don't want to overpay (levy, lol).  31 y/o and getting on a bit, physically.

Getting only a 3rd for him is pretty wasteful, would have thought a 2nd for sure. Hopefully they took his full salary

We traded him. How could we still be paying his salary?

I agree a 3rd round pick is pretty much always crap, but it's better than having him waste away on the bench. He was making 200 thousand dollars a year (relatively high paid for a Sporting player) to get injured, rarely impact the team, and sit on the bench. Also, we have so many options at forward. He's probably towards the bottom of that long list. And since we have Josh Gardner now, we don't need him as emergency left back depth.

would be a decent stop-gap if we could get him for under 10 mil imo

I don't know which game to watch the most on Sunday.

Fergie's last game, even though it's not important?
Ian Darke's last EPL game + it's the Arsenal game which still has meaning?
Tottenham who will be playing balls to the wall looking for goals?
My boy Moyes kicking Chelsea around for fun?

Are they airing all of the games in the U.S. like last season? It was amazing having games on ESPN/fx/Fox Sports/Fuel/FSC/FSC+  all at the same time. Of course, there aren't as many as important games this season
