3-1.

No way Wigan stay up now. Even if they somehow got two back, AND they win their last game against Villa, AND Sunderland lose their last game, current goal differential between them and Sunderland is like -13 or something.

I'd put Wigan's chances of staying up at 0.000000000000000001%

EDIT: 4-1

Sorry Wigan and Tottenham HotCats.

there's no way arsenal hangs another 7 goals on a terrible newcastle team that has publicly said they're not playing for anything, right? :flush:

Yeah I lost a lot of respect for Newcastle as a club for coming out and saying that.

you know what the worst part about soccer is? how the announcers have their pluralities all wrong. like "arsenal have won!" instead of "arsenal has won!"

europeans are so stupid
I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.

This has bugged me so much. Sometimes I find myself saying it the way they do cause I'm used to hearing it so much.

Crazy scenario where Chelsea and Arsenal will have a play-off to determine 3rd/4th place:

If Chelsea/Everton draw and Arsenal beats Newcastle by 1 while scoring 2 more goals than Chelsea does, the two teams will be even on points, goal diff and goals scored.  At which point a 39th match will be played to determine who gets the automatic UCL spot and who goes to qualification.

That would actually be pretty important because 3rd place gets you to the group stage, fourth you have to play a UCL qualifying round.

Something like "I don't care if we lose 4-0 now. I'm sure Spurs fans do, but we don't."  :curse:
