I guess when I think about it, it's not that surprising, I've been to sporting matches and royals games and I've had a lot more fun at sporting matches. I would guess that sporting draws a significantly younger crowd, but it would be interesting to look at the demographics of attendance between sporting, the royals, and even the chiefs. I would think the mlb executives would get depressed thinking about the future of baseball.

Mmmmmm, no I don't think they're worried. They have 162 games per season.

1,739,859 people went to games at Kauffman in 2012, and that is only averaging 21,748 (57.4%) attendance

Sporting averaged 19,404 last year and only hosted 17 matches.

Iirc, a while ago on twitter, Rob said that the expansion was going to be in 2015 and would take the stadium to 20K or 25K.  Don't remember the exact number, but do remember it being a couple yrs out.

Going to the playoffs now and then might cheer them up and fill up the stands. In the meantime, SKC will be in the playoffs every season contending for MLS Cup.

I want Sunderland to go down.

1-0 to Stoke City inside 9 minutes!

Yeah, if I have to choose between Sunderland, Aston Villa, and Wigan to go down, I'm choosing Sunderland.

Never too soon to talk summer transfers.  What's everyone's (reasonable) expectations this summer?
For United: Falcao, Ronaldo, Lewandowski, etc.

The (reasonable) must have been overlooked.  Is this a pick one?
Oh, Bale too. I want those four reasonably.

Ha!  :shakesfist:

Since we are talking transfers, can we also discuss next year's EPL kits?

To expansion I don't want to expand too quick. Would hate if we can't consistently sell out after expansion and have to tarp off upper sections. I guess I am not convinced of long term sustainability of the Sporting fanbase especially if the Royals and Chiefs were to become winners. The driver at one point of the club was the rebrand and the new stadium then it became the only winner in KC. I am skeptical what will happen when those advantages fade.

Gross.

Chelsea is going to have great 1st(blue) and second kit(white) but do not like the 3rd kit(black) or the keeper kit(yellow and black) too much.

Too lazy to post pics and don't know how from my phone.

I like all the CFC kits.  Simple, classic look.  Generally, I like the 3rd kit to be a little more creative, but black is always good.

Omg. What the...

The home kit isn't so bad I guess.

EPL doesn't have consistently attractive kits. They're pretty boring for the most part usually.

We should alternate yellow and white every other year as the 2nd kit and a Black kit and a highlight kit every other year as the 3rd imo

It's like Liverpool was trying to go back in time to the 80's.

If City drops points to West Brom and Chelsea wins vs Spurs there might be a fight for #2  :sdeek:

Nobody but it is just funny for me to look at the trajectory of Chelsea's season with all these ups and downs and how it could end with a European trophy and finishing 2nd on the league.
