Loved it. Only thing I didn't like was the draft specials were shut down post-game. Wtf? Think I saw a fatty goEMAW sweatshirt walking to the bar...

Yup.  I saw one.

big game today in KC vs Real Salt Lake, the table toppers in the West. 1 or 3 points would be huge. The weather could cause problems for either team.

Johnny Kaw's will have it on in MHK  :emawkid:

If Brett Anthony is to be trusted(don't get me started) it looks like the weather is gonna hold off until way after the game.

That rough ridin' ref is on the rough ridin' take.  Hasn't blown a damn thing all game then blows it on a rough ridin' dive.

I am somewhat new to the MLS scene, but it appears to me that MLS refs are probs the absolute worst of any major sport, or college for that matter.

What I love about MLS is that there is apparently no rules that keep players, managers, coaches, or owners from dogging the crap out of the refs and their shitty calls in press conferences or interviews.

I mean, PV spoke freely in the post game on Sat about how the first goal being taken away was bull and how the shot on goal was taken by a guy off sides and "so technically the record of min with no shot on goal is still running".  Really like PV btw.

Can we get some insight on the extremely high dork volume that exists within the MLS fanbase?

Don't get me wrong, I love SKC and I've really enjoyed a handful of games out there.  I also watch them on TV whenever they're on.  So, maybe I'm just a tool too and just don't realize it; or maybe I do realize it.

BUT, the games I have been to, I've witnessed an incredibly high volume of complete dork jobs.

Thoughts, anybody?

A guy near me sat had a full Nacho Libre type mask on all game.  It wasn't like a funny thing to him.  He didn't put it on and yuck it up and then take it off.  D00d wore it for the entire match.

I just do what I do at WildWildCat bb games: get drunk and boo my ass off.

Maybe I am part of the problem?

I agree. Lots of Joe Davis types at SKC games, and Joe Davis is a fan of......
That is your answer.

I think the ratio of MLS dorkfans to MLB dorkfans is quite low. Maybe our definition of dork is different  :dunno:

MLS dork: dress up in costume and get drunk and boo

MLB dork: wear headphones and listen to ryan lefiebrbrbfbrvbe broadcast while you have your royals polo tucked into your cargo shorts

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.
