why do the champions league announcers almost always sound bored as eff to be there (in general, did not watch atletico)

That's how the euro announcers get down. It doesn't help that not all of the crews are at the matches, for the most part, they are in a studio in London, Greenwich, CT, or LA.

I feel like the EPL guys aren't quite as bad when it comes to being bored. Definitely not Arlo White but also some of the generic ones that are on the peacock streams

Arlo White is awesome and he knows his audience. He's also employed by NBC. A lot of those other guys, particularly ones you're watching doing Palace matches on Peacock, are lower tier announcers for Sky Sports and the BBC. I've also noticed most of those pbp guys and analysts are crazy old. They put the young guys in studio but not really in the booth.

Funny enough I heard a discussion about this on a podcast earlier this week. The kit man doesn't have to wash the jersey if it doesn't get put on.

Ugh

I hate Chelsea so much. TT is such a bitch, they always have really unlikable managers. Conte was far and away their most likeable managers and he isn't very likeable.

ok I thought about this after the game and it's even dumber than I thought. THE PLAYERS ARE ALREADY WEARING TEAM GEAR THAT WILL NEED TO BE WASHED BEFORE THEY CHANGE INTO THEIR GAME JERSEY!!! JUST WEAR THE GAME JERSEY!!!

Isn’t it a rule? I mean they have to wear those bibs when warming up on the sideline.

Can't they wear their game shirt underneath the vest? Subs always change their shirts that are under the vests. Maybe that's a rule but why????

It is not, they don't even have to wear the pennies while warming up.
