With the Moreno deal getting done, I actually feel good about Liverpool's defense this year.

DeAndre has signed a four-year contract and will remain with Sounders before joining us ahead of the 2015/16 season.

Capped seven times by the US, DeAndre caught the eye with his performances at this summer's World Cup. Born in Seattle, he joined Sounders' Academy in 2010-11 and became their first home-grown player when he signed in January, 2013.

The 21-year-old made it into the MLS All-Star Team in his first season last year - the first 'rookie' to do so in the MLS since 2005 - and earned the honour again this season for the recent MLS All-Star game against Bayern Munich.

DeAndre has now played 52 times for the Sounders in all competitions and lined-up against us in our 3-3 friendly draw at CenturyLink Field on July 19, the first match of this summer's Tour of North America.

Manchester City midfielder Javi Garcia is set to complete a 13 million pound move to Russian club Zenit St Petersburg.

Arsenal is leading the race to sign Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani for 51 million pounds. The former Napoli front man has also been tracked by Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea but could be heading to north London.

Jonathan De Guzman has been given some extra time by Villarreal. Another year at the Spanish side is no option, so the midfielder hopes for an English club. His employer is still in talks with interested clubs like Napoli.

The Saints have agreed a fee, believed to be in the region of 12 million pounds for Hull City striker Shane Long.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has reportedly lined up an £8 million bid for Newcastle midfielder Cheick Tiote

Manchester United is set to launch an £80 million spending spree with Angel Di Maria, Marcos Rojo and Daley Blind being targeted by Louis van Gaal.

Southampton wase targeting a move for Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez but the Mexico international has rejected the chance to move to St Mary’s.

Southampton is set to complete a £12 million deal to sign Hull City striker Shane Long.

Manchester United has until Friday to wrap up a deal for Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal after offering 40 million pounds and Javier Hernandez, according to reports in Chile.

Barcelona is looking at options to replace the aging Dani Alves and has turned its attention to Tottenham right back Kyle Walker. The Catalan outfit will open bidding at 13.5 million pounds.

Liverpool is set to move for Southampton target Marcos Rojo as the club struggles to complete a deal to sign Sevilla's Alberto Moreno.

Eliaquim Mangala's arrival at Manchester City is set to spell the end for Matija Nastasic and Micah Richards' time at the Etihad Stadium.

PSV will loan Karim Rekik for another year from Manchester City. He played 25 matches for the Dutch club last season.

Wilfried Zaha could be set for a return to Crystal Palace after the Selhurst Park club agreed a 2 million-pound loan deal with Manchester United.

Liverpool is considering a move for Samuel Eto’o. The striker is available for free having left Chelsea earlier this summer.

Trabzonspor is close to securing a 1.5 million-pound deal for Liverpool center back Kolo Toure.

Swansea City is keen to wrap up an 8 million-pound deal for Napoli center back Federico Fernandez before the team's opening Premier League fixture against Manchester United.

Liverpool looks set to miss out on Ezequiel Lavezzi after Paris Saint-Germain opened talks about a new deal for the Argentine. The Reds had strongly been linked with a move for the World Cup runner up, who will meet with PSG officials this week.

Sunderland has rejected a bid of 4 million pounds from West Ham for striker Connor Wickham. The England Under-21 international is out of contract next summer and will be allowed to leave, though the Black Cats are holding out for a bigger fee.

The arrival of Eliaquim Mangala at Manchester City is likely to signal the end of Matija Nastasic's time at the Etihad Stadium. The Premier League champions are ready to allow the Serb to leave after he was pushed down the pecking order.

Arsenal is ready to move for Olympiakos defender Kostas Manolas as a replacement for Barcelona new manThomas Vermaelen. Arsene Wenger hopes to bring in a center back and is keen on the Greece international, who impressed at the World Cup.

Aston Villa is the latest club to show interest in Colombia midfielder Carlos Sanchez, nicknamed 'The Rock'. Paul Lambert is desperate to bolster his midfield and is targeting the Elche man after giving up on Sunderland's Ki Sung-Yueng.

Barcelona shitheads want to sign a right back, even if Dani Alves stays at Camp Nou for another season. The idiot fuckass club want Fiorentina's Juan Cuadrado but are also looking at BVB's Lukasz Piszczek, who said he would never leave an amazing club like BVB to go play with a bunch of mercenary pedophiles who participate willingly in tax evasion, and Atletico's Juanfran.
