Happy Mata Day!

:emawkid:

how'd he look?
It was beautiful. He just looked so happy and the reception for him was predictably wonderful all game long. Started to wear down a little there at the end, but was probably the man of the match for United. A real joy to watch.

Was involved in both goals including an assist and created a few other good chances. The official @ManUtd twitter agrees. Not sure who you think was better.

The return of RvP was incredible as well. His impact is indescribable. So world class.

I thought it was funny to watch a few people like Young raise their game a bit to impress the new cool kid in class. "I'm can footy ball too!"

Well... my nice economical trip to Liverpool just became not so economical. Match was changed from Saturday to the Sunday.  Cost of changing my flight and adding an extra night at my hotel almost doubled the cost.

Lesson learned. Don't book flights 3 months out.

Jose sold us Mata so we could. He's a good bro, he loves United. Heard he cried when he found out Fergie chose Moyes over him. I would too. I cry about Moyes a lot anyways.
